Vocation Videos coming on DVD!
09.17.2007

Youth ministry media providers Outside da Box announced they will be packaging Sarah Bauer`s online video series "4 Days : 4 Videos : 4 Vocations" on DVD as the featured material of their next edition, entitled Vocare.

Eric Groth, president of Outside da Box, comments, "After meeting with Sarah last winter we were planning to do a music video for one of the songs on her new album. She shared about the inspiration and meaning of the song `Radiance`, and we realized including the video series was a perfect, and providential, fit."

Sarah shares, "I have gotten dozens and dozens of e-mails and phone calls from youth ministers, schools and vocations directors asking how they could get a copy of the video series on DVD to spread the message. I didn`t know where to begin to make something like that happen, so I started praying about it. When I talked with Eric about the music video, the idea just seemed to click!" Bauer also believes the distribution of these videos serves a higher purpose. "Right from the beginning of this series, I felt the Holy Spirit in such a profound way. I prayed that it would reach everyone that it is supposed to. With the huge distribution that Outside da Box has, its reach will be far more than I ever thought possible."

The DVD will also feature the official music video for "Radiance", which was produced by Outside da Box.

"Radiance" Online Launch!
08.28.2007

With over two years in the making, Sarah Bauer`s newest album, Radiance, hits the streets today. This follow-up to the critically acclaimed Lead Me Home in 2005, once again promises to deliver Sarah`s signature: Real Woman, Real Faith, Real Rock.

When asked about the new album, Sarah spoke, "It`s definitely my favorite album so far, digging much deeper lyrically and writing melodies to support their depth." She continues, "Its message is the most important to date, too. This past year, God has really shown me what it means to shine your own unique light, and I wanted to convey that message as encouragement all throughout the album."

The album was recorded in Nashville, TN under the production of Todd Robbins, whose work with artists such as dc talk, Michael W. Smith, and Jaci Velasquez, have earned two Grammies and over a dozen gold and platinum albums. Bauer remarks, "I am so humbled to have had the opportunity to work with Todd. I had a specific sound I was going for with this album: super fun, a little aggressive at times, but still really letting the vocals and lyrics drive the songs. I really had no idea what more I could say to convey the sounds in my head, but he totally nailed it. It sounds incredible, way better than I ever could have imagined."

Radiance is available online exclusively at www.sarahbauer.com.

Sarah Wins at International Songwriting Competition
07.17.2007

National Christian recording artist Sarah Bauer takes home the second place award from Faith Hope and Love International`s 2007 Songwriting Invitational. The invitational was part of FHL`s community service week in Indianapolis.

Bauer submitted two songs from her new album, "My Own Backyard" and "Radiance". Winning the hearts of the panel of judges, her two recordings took the top two spots out of over 100 songs submitted. The songs were judged by originality, lyrical content, and musicianship. "I selected those two songs, because I felt they best represented the FHL organization: shining your presence by serving in the local community."

After the preliminary round of judging, Bauer and three other finalists performed at the two largest venues in Indianapolis: Conseco Fieldhouse and outdoors at Monument Circle. In a tight vote via an "applause meter", Bauer was awarded second place.

"I was just happy to be able to come together with other artists to support a great organization and the local community," commented Bauer.
